Rules & Regulations
Our trading fees as listed below are predicated upon several factors:
- All securities are DTC eligible
- Foreign securities, not DTC eligible, are not traded at the discount rates noted below.
- All securities will be held in the client's account in street name and will not be issued in certificate form.
- Securities that are being sold must be cleared and in the account before a sell order is accepted.
- We do accept, but do not encourage, margin accounts with those investors who have demonstrated their sophistication in dealing with margin requirements.
- Legal items (estates and trusts and the like) will be eligible for discount transactions only after all securities have been converted to street name and all legal requirements have been met.
- We do not trade mutual funds at discount rates. Mutual funds, by contractual agreement, must be traded according to the requirements of the mutual fund prospectus and selling group agreement.
- Other investments such as municipal bonds, treasury bonds, bills and notes, corporate bonds and certificates of deposit trade at fee amounts different from stock transactions. Please check with us for fees on these items.
- We do not deal in options, commodities or futures.
- Rates are subject to change without notice. Please check with our traders when entering orders to confirm our transaction rates.
- The trade minimum for purchases, including commissions, is $1,000.
- Inactivity fees apply to accounts transacting less than 2 trades per year or with less than $10,000 in money market funds or networked mutual fund.
